Kelsey Snavely, LPC-Intern, LCDC
Kelsey Snavely is a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor supervised by Angel Landrum, MA, LPC-S, LCDC, MAC. She graduated with honors from St. Edward’s University with a Master of Arts in Counseling after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Psychology from Southern Methodist University. Kelsey has experience working in an intensive outpatient program for court-mandated individuals, providing individual and group counseling to individuals struggling with substance use, and working with HIV+ and LGBTQ populations. She currently works at the Narcotic Treatment Program through Integral Care, and uses a harm-reduction approach when working with clients.
Kelsey provides a safe, comfortable space and relies on client-centered practices. No two clients are the same, so tailoring a treatment plan specifically for each individual will empower clients to achieve their goals. Kelsey facilitates exploration of deeper issues relating to family, culture, significant events, and relationships and how these contribute to current situations.
