Choosing a therapist is a very personal decision. It's important that you feel comfortable. Finding a safe, confidential and collobrative experience in a counseling is my goal. If you have any questions about therapy in general or about me in particular, please do not hesitate to ask.
My Background
I have a master's degree in counseling from St. Edwards University at Austin, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (License #63165).
I began my training in 2005 and have since worked with a number of adults providing individual, and group counseling. In addition, I have experience in the areas of substance and alcohol addictions, gay and lesbian relationships, and life transitions counseling.
I work collaboratively with clients and blend a number of treatment approaches in my work, including client centered, motivational interviewing, solution focused and existential therapies. If the assistance you request is beyond my expertise, or if you would like a referral elsewhere for any reason, I can help you to obtain the necessary services.
